Year 12 maths whiz Seyoon Ragavan has been selected on the Australian team for the International Mathematical Olympiad for the fourth year running.
Knox Grammar School
Seyoon was selected from an initial pool of more than 150,000 high school students who sat open qualifying exams, including the Australian Science Olympiad Exams and the Australian Mathematics Competition.
Seyoon will compete with students from more than 100 countries at the Mathematical Olympiad in Hong Kong from 6-16 July.
Last year Seyoon won a gold medal at the Olympiad. Congratulations and good luck, Seyoon!

Year 10 student Nathan Z recently returned from the 36th International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) with a bronze medal. Nathan was selected through a rigorous process to participate in the event, hosted by the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in Alexandria, Egypt.
